Almost thirty years ago, the Day Services - West program was created to serve individuals who, as they aged, needed a day time program that was less vocationally-oriented. This helps both the client and the family members make the adjustments that are often needed as the aging process brings personal changes to their door.

Our Day Services - West program allows individuals who are experiencing loss of abilities because of aging, those who have had a stroke, and those who have early-onset Alzheimer's disease to be in a safe and friendly environment.

Other benefits include community integration, socialization, exercise, work opportunities and therapeutic activities.

Some individuals have additional barriers to independent living and require specialized care and equipment to meet their daily needs. Staff members work with these individuals alone and in small groups to increase their physical skills and to learn and develop their abilities. Emphasis is often on socialization through language development, including that assisted by computerized equipment. process brings personal changes to their door.

Our Day Services - East program has earned state-wide recognition for its excellence. We are proud of the individuals in this program and the progress they make living within their communities.
