Being hired for a job in the community is a very attainable and desired goal for many of the individuals that we serve and we have more than 35 business placements to prove it. Plus, the work records achieved by these employees have helped us continue to build excellent partnerships with more companies and organizations.
Our staff members work with both the employer and the prospective employee to match the skills of an individual with a job description. However, the individuals we serve work through the process like any other individual - a resume is developed and the individual prepares for the job interview. When hired, East Shore continues to work with both parties, enhancing communication, sometimes redesigning jobs and providing on-going training and support.
